"I recently filed a claim due to the hurricanes that just passed us and State Farm denied the claim because the carpets just needed to be washed and not replaced and "the walls didn't look wet" even though the company they sent to my house did a moisture test and they said 3 walls needed to be ripped out and the flooring replaced. Now i know this isn't on the agency but rather on State Farm for denying my claim but when i asked my agency to help me get a letter of denial they told me they couldn't help me at all and i needed to contact claims for the documents. My adjuster doesn't answer the phone and this agency refuses to help. An agency is supposed to help bridge the gap between the customer and the company. However, this is not the case with this agency. I recommend that if you go with State Farm to go with a different agency because it seems like if the agent doesn't make commission on a new policy they are unwilling to help. They have a "that's not my job" attitude. In my opinion its not very "good neighbor" of them."

"I'm in my 7th year with Clive and his team. When I bought my house in 2017, they went out of their way to ensure that my documentation on the roof, construction, etc. was properly rated. The staff is knowledgeable, responsive and helpful, in fact, I've never had a bad experience with them. Clive even talked me into using the State Farm "Drive Safe & Save" device, and it seems to have 'gently' made me into a more careful driver, plus I'm saving a substantial amount on both cars. "Rude and unprofessional is an understatement. Clive didn’t like that I was trying to address rude and unprofessional behavior that I experienced from his office, and combated it by using the same type of behavior. He proceeded to hang up on me because I said he was being rude. I have had great interactions with State Farm in general, but this office from the time I moved to FL from WI in 2017 has been the opposite of pleasant. They get mad at you for simply asking questions as to why your bill increased, when all it says is rate increase changes on the paper that is sent. It is very sad that State Farm is being represented by this agency, as state farm truly has been great as a company when needed. Its too bad you can’t just use their corporate office as an agent, it would be much better. If you can, find a different office if you don’t want to be spoken down upon, or want to deal with rude and short tempered individuals."
